The Story Behind PickMyPet

The idea for PickMyPet came to me while facing a simple problem: a shoulder height of 45 cm – what does that actually mean? Numbers are abstract. But almost all of us know roughly how big a Golden Retriever, a Dachshund, or a German Shepherd is. That's why I built a tool that uses exactly these familiar references, so you can finally immediately and realistically visualize the size of a new pet.

PickMyPet was developed to bring transparency and objective data to the search for the perfect pet. We believe that a well-informed decision based on facts leads to a happier life for both humans and animals.
